Southern Classic Spares Ltd ships nationwide in New Zealand only & use CourierPost as our preferred courier company. On larger or heavy items, we use Fastway Couriers to keep the cost down for you, the customer.
We charge a flat rate courier fee depending on the value of the order. This covers the cost of the courier bag or postage ticket & transport to the CourierPost depot which is about 20kms away from where we are based as we are rural. There can be a slight delay sometimes due to where we are located for pick-ups.
CourierPost's target for delivery is overnight to major cities although if items is being delivered to a rural address, this may take up 2-3 working days. Some couriers depending on their contract, work Saturday mornings so you may still receive in the weekend up till about 1pm in the afternoon. Tracking info will be sent to you once items have been dispatched by us so please check tracking info at the following CourierPost & Fastway Couriers website links:
We keep all size courier bags in stock & package your parts well. Please wait at least 2-3 working days before e-mailing us asking where your parcel is, if your item has been couriered.
Unfortunately even though we are efficient in dispatching & advising you that your item has been sent, it is up to CourierPost to hopefully continue their record of delivering within their time frame guidelines.
Dunedin locals
If you are located in Dunedin, we are happy to drop off to you. We head into Dunedin Central most days so happy to drop off at a business address if that makes things easier for you or home address if within the metro area. Just select "Drop-off to Dunedin locals" when checking out & we will be in touch with a delivery day.
